This past weekend we had a Family Day and enjoyed the wonderful Bluebird Day with some time at the Denver Zoo. It was a perfect day….complete with Aunt Kelsi and Chase joining us.
Reeve wasn’t exactly excited to be in his stroller and we weren’t exactly wanting to carry him around the whole time, so we took him out mostly in the enclosed/indoor exhibits where he could be free to crawl around and get “up close” to the animals.
I fell in love all over again with these two each time I caught them looking at each other to make sure the other one had seen the monkey/igauna/dragon/bird/fish that just passed their faces. The love these two have for each other is amazing! Reeve is a Daddy’s Boy….if only the Zoo had balls and puppies…he wouldn’t have known what to do with himself.
Here is Reeve touching the glass and trying to get as close as he can to the animals.
What is he looking at, you may be asking yourself?
It was such a wonderful day!
I can’t wait to share more pictures from that day. Reeve was a Peek-A-Boo fool!
It takes longer these days to write posts. Kirk is out of town and the day starts at 6am and goes non-stop until 8pm. Sure, there are a few naps during the day, but I am doing house chores and maybe using the bathroom without a toddler pulling on my legs….
so, posting on here is a little slow this week, as it is every time Kirk leaves town.
