I have 2 points to make this with this post….and the rest of it is just random pictures from Christmas Eve at my parents’ house. The next few posts are random/post-Christmas pictures. Kind of lame, but I don’t want to forget any of Reeve’s First Christmas festivities.
1. Reeve is severely confused as to where our Christmas Tree went. He sits in his highchair, which did have a direct view of the tree, and says, “tee?” over and over. He points and looks to where it was and then looks at me for the answer. He will walk over to the lamp that sits where it was and look at it from all angles as though it’s a different, not as fun type of tree.
Sad.
2. (Let the Rant begin) I HATE REAL CHRISTMAS TREES! Kirk and I have had this argument for 4 Christmases now. What is the joy in a real tree when all I can think about is how it’s dead after just 2 weeks (which means 2 weeks before Christmas since it goes up right after Thanksgiving), how it’s probably leaking onto my hardwood floors, how the needles are constantly falling and I have to sweep all of the time, the sap is sticky, putting it on the hood of my car scratches the paint….I could go on.
I hate them. He is adamant though….but I think I am going to buy a fake one 90% off this year and just force him to deal with it.
Anyway, here are my boys looking at my Mom’s Christmas “tee”
Here is Reeve opening his new Walker from Don Linny & Papa Jim…he loves it!
Cousin Jack showing Reeve how to use the Xylophone Sticks (which Reeve now uses as a weapon/Hannah Beater)
Reeve holding a phone that plugs into my iPhone that my brother gave me that Kirk is actually really excited to use with HIS cell phone when he’s on conference calls in his office.
Riding on the Scooter that Papa Jim won’t let us have b/c he sees them for sale in Antique Stores all of the time and would rather sell it for a buck than give it to his grandson.

Okay smarty pants. I will sell it to you for $1 but you have to come back and get it.
